In partnership with our client, we are recruiting an H&S Technician to join their team in Lisboa.
Key Responsabilities:
- Risk assessment and compliance inspection: Identify workplace hazards, conduct regular on-site inspections, and ensure compliance with Portuguese safety regulations and equivalent EU OSHA norms;
- Safety training and guidance: Provide health and safety training to employees (e.g., handling chemicals, operating machinery, or emergency evacuation) and maintain personal protective equipment;
- Accident investigation and reporting: Investigate workplace accidents, draft reports, implement preventive measures, and report to ACT or relevant authorities;
- Environmental and hygiene support: Monitor the work environment (such as noise, dust, or hazardous substances), and assist in developing company safety policies
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a related area;
- 5 years working experience manufacturing industry in EU region;
- English (fluent), Portuguese (fluent), Chinese (a plus);
- Hold the professional qualification certificate of EHS recognized by local (EU) government, carbon management related laws and regulations in Portugal, other EU countries;
- Ability to identify risks and formulate preventive measures.
